‘Tis the season
The crisp breeze, snow-covered trees and spirit of giving can only mean one thing: the holiday season is upon us. Lumbermen’s employees are proud to support our local charities during this season, and we invite you to do the same. Together we can make a difference for families in our own communities to ensure they will also have a merry Christmas.
Lumbermen’s employees have adopted a family through Catholic Charities Domestic Violence Shelter in Omaha, and are excited to fulfill the family’s wish list so they can celebrate the season. This wonderful organization offers women and their children a safe and secure temporary place to stay. The shelter provides battered women the protection, care and support they need to regain control and make decisions about their lives and their futures.
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Omaha ministers to the greatest and most fundamental needs of our community. Since 1926, Catholic Charities has had a rich tradition of serving and advocating for more than 75,000 voiceless, hungry, addicted, abused and forgotten individuals and families annually throughout the area.
